Theo tờ Mundo Deportivo ( tây ban nha), Barcelona đang quan tâm tới bộ 3 hậu vệ của Juventus bao gồm: Matthijs de Ligt, Daniele Rugani và Mattia de Sciglio. Ngoài ra, đội bóng Tây Ban Nha cũng để ý tới trung vệ Milan Skriniar của Inter Milan.

Tuy nhiên, với việc nhà đương kim vô địch giải Tây Ban Nha đang gặp khó khăn về vấn đề tài chính, nên các vụ chuyển nhượng sẽ được câu lạc bộ (CLB ) trao đổi cầu thủ thay vì mua hoàn toàn bằng tiền mặt.

Tờ báo của Tây Ban Nha cho biết thêm: Barcelona sẽ tận dụng mối quan hệ tốt với 2 CLB của Ý là Inter Milan và Juventus để nâng cấp hàng phòng ngự cho mùa giải tới. Hai cái tên đang được đội bóng chủ sân Nou Camp đưa lên bàn đàm phán là trung vệ Samuel Umtiti và hậu vệ cánh Nelson Semedo.

Barcelona could raid Italy for at least two new defenders when the transfer window reopens after identifying a number of potential targets in Serie A.

According to Mundo Deportivo, Barca have their eye on a trio of Juventus stars – Matthijs de Ligt, Daniele Rugani and Mattia de Sciglio – and Inter Milan centre back Milan Skriniar.

However, any deals will involve player swaps rather than straight cash, with the Spanish champions among those hit hardest financially by the coronavirus crisis.

The Spanish newspaper claim that Barcelona will use their good relationship with Juve and Inter to help improve their squad without breaking the bank. Samuel Umtiti and Nelson Semedo are likely to be used in any deals, with manager Quique Setien desperate to strengthen his defence before the start of next season.

De Ligt was a target for Barca before he joined Juventus last summer, but an up-and-down first season in Italy has led to suggestions that he could be made available.

The Spanish giants are said to be in the market for at least one central defender, plus a new full-back, when the transfer window is given the green light to reopen.

De Ligt and Skriniar, who has reportedly attracted interest from Manchester United, would cost significantly more than Rugani and De Sciglio, which could cause a problem for cash-strapped Barca.

The club also remain keen on a deal for Inter’s star striker Lautaro Martinez, while they are said to be in talks with Juve over a deal which would see midfielder Miralem Pjanic move to the Nou Camp this summer.
